More than a healing art, energy healing can be a total enlightenment program. It enhances areas such as creativity, career, relationships, enhanced learning, social projects, environmental awareness, global thinking, care-giving, animal & pet care. It helps to build character and instill core values.

Healing for Animals & Pets

Energy healing is a tool that allows The Healer to act with greater benefit to the horses that are in need. Mankind subjects horses to uses that often lead to injuries on many levels. The physical body is damaged by training techniques that are used to enforce compliance to human desires, and the subtler emotional bodies are damaged accordingly. Many, many horses have had to learn to erect "walls" around their mental and energy bodies to prevent further damage. These walls, while protective, can also block healing.

When offering to share healing energy with a horse, it is important to remember that these walls are likely to be firmly in place. Because humans use their hands to harm horses as well as provide care, horses can understandably be suspicious of unusual hand and arm movements.

For that reason, a Distant Healing can be the most appropriate: First build a "healing field", or create a "golden bubble" of healing energy, and invite the horse into it. Remember too to cleanse the space, which may contain energetic waste, by using Healing Symbols. The horse can be invited into the energized space, or gently enfolded within it, depending on the horse's willingness, by whispering the horse's name at a distance.

For those who are unfamiliar with a horse's body language, signs of unwillingness include a raised rigid neck and spine, tight lips, braced ears, reluctance to make eye contact, and a restless tail. Signs of willingness include a soft and lowered neck and spine, soft licking or chewing movements of the lips and lower jaw, a release of the breath, softly alert ears, and a soft, engaging expression in the eyes. When inviting a horse into The healing field, use breathing. Horses, as intuitive prey animals, are very aware of the physical state of those in their energy presence, even at a distance, and they can be calmed by your regulated breath.

When the horses shows its willingness to accept the healing energy and your presence in it, you may offer the horse The Healing. Many horses will position their bodies so that needy areas of the body will receive The Healing Energy. Other times the healing energy intelligence will place its invisible hands where they are needed. Physical difficulties that have been successfully treated with energy healing include long-standing muscle spasms, hysteria, back and neck pain, and various kinds of lameness.

Cats speak the language of energy as a first language, and cats know universal power intimately. That may well be one of the reasons that many humans find feline company and presence so comfortable and comforting. That may also account for the reverse; in many cultures cats are feared as intermediaries of the spirit world, or venerated as living deities.

Dogs seem to be less energetically empowered than cats, and seem to be receptive to quieter, less active forms of energy therapy. Simply holding a dog’s head in your hands can be a strong healing and communion.

When the furry person enters into your healing field, or allows you to enfold it in your energy, allow the healing energy intelligence to direct your hands. Bear in mind the fact that skin sensation may be needed to comfort many cats and some dogs. Ruffling the fur gently, stroking, or small circular movements of the fingertips can be very soothing and invite acceptance. Many will assertively position their bodies to direct the energy as they wish.

Sharing healing energy with the unborn is a powerful and humbling experience. I have shared it with pregnant cats, dogs, and horses, and have felt a very strong sense of the presence of the unborn within. Wonderfully, when these individuals are born into this life, we recognize one another from our pre-natal contact. I have often gotten clear knowledge of gender, colors and markings of the fetuses.

Sometimes, while sharing healing energy with a furry person, the healer will receive very clear pictures or messages. Sometimes this "knowingness" is an awareness of the nature of an illness or a systemic disruption. Often it is a knowingness concerning vitamin or mineral deficiencies such as anemia, or the presence of an infective agent. On some occasions it will be a memory of an injury. This awareness can be communicated with the furry person’s caregiver so that action can be taken medically or nutritionally.

Energy healing for our fur-bearing brethren can be a learning, healing, sharing, and teaching experience. They give as much as we give - the energy is circular.

Distant Healing for Animals & Pets

Distant Healing is very effective and can be preferable to hands-on treatments in the majority of cases.

Some animals may live too far away for hands-on treatments. Others may be extremely small, fearful of strangers, old and fragile, or close to death and may be better able to relax and absorb healing energy distantly. For people with very busy schedules, alternating distant healing treatments and in-person treatments are a great way to be able to give your animal the benefits of energy healing more conveniently; distant treatments are quite cost-effective and can help to stretch available resources for treatments. Distant treatments are also quick to schedule: in emergency situations, we can usually offer a distant treatment within a day of being contacted. Similarly, if an animal seems to be coming down with something or needs additional support between treatments, distant healing will provide what is needed.

Distant healing offers the same benefits as hands-on energy healing: physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. For example, a distant healing treatment can provide pain relief for various illnesses and injuries, accelerated healing from surgery or illness, emotional healing (including healing for behavioral issues), prevention of illness, and it can greatly ease the transition to death. Distant healing is also helpful in healing family situations that may involve your animal and in helping human companions with the process of an animal's death. A distant treatment can also be sent to heal a traumatic event in your animal's past.

After a distant treatment, results can usually be seen in the next 24-48 hours. Although some conditions may require regular treatments to complete the healing process, dramatic shifts in healing often occur almost immediately.
